Editorial Submission Guideline

Monthly Feature & Monthly Medicine Article submissions for the monthly feature or the Monthly Medicine column can include up to 1000 words. Advertorial type language is strictly prohibited. In the by-line, articles may include the author’s name, title, and company name. It is preferred that all articles are submitted via an email attachment in Microsoft Word format. Authors are also strongly encouraged to submit their photo, corporate logo, and any photos or tables that are relevant to the story via email in tif or jpeg format. The photos need to be high resolution (a minimum of 300 dpi) and absolutely no gif files.

Monthly Columns

Breaking Ground, Financial Perspectives, Legal Affairs, HR, Technology, Leadership Development, Integrative Medicine, Marketing Methods, Managed Care Corner, Bedside Manner Basics, Hospital Headlines, Pharmaceutical Corner, Healthy Fare Article submissions for Medical Journal – Houston’s ongoing monthly columns can include up to 750 words. Advertorial type language is strictly prohibited. In the by-line, articles may include the author’s name, title, and company name. It is preferred that all articles are submitted via an email attachment in Microsoft Word format. Authors are also strongly encouraged to submit their photo, corporate logo, and any photos or tables that are relevant to the story via email in tif or jpeg format. The photos need to be high resolution (a minimum of 300 dpi) and absolutely no gif files.

Physician Spotlight

Physicians that are selected to be featured in our acclaimed Physician Spotlight need to submit via email a standard head & shoulder type photo for the cover and at least 1, but up to 4 photos for the actual story. Photos that are included in the story can be ‘at work’ type photos or personal photos that are relevant to their persona. The photos need to be high resolution (a minimum of 300 dpi) and absolutely no gif files.

Moving On Up

Article submissions for the Moving On Up section can include up to 300 words. Advertorial type language is strictly prohibited. It is preferred that all announcements are submitted via an email attachment in Microsoft Word format. Please include a photo if applicable or available, via email in tif or jpeg format. The photos need to be high resolution (a minimum of 300 dpi) and absolutely no gif files. Medical Journal – Houston is published monthly by STT Enterprises, Inc. Entire editorial content of items that appear in publication is copyrighted by STT Enterprises, Inc. and must not be reproduced whole or in part without prior permission.

Medical Journal – Houston publishes monthly columns based on space availability and does not guarantee that every column will be published every month.
